CUSTOMER AGREEMENT

PAYMENT POLICY: Payment is due at the time of cleaning, and all payments are non-refundable. We do not accept check or cash for our services.
For
first-time clients, as well as Move Out/In Cleans, Special Cleans, and After Remodeling Cleans, payment will be charged to the card saved on file on the day of the cleaning.

CANCELLATION POLICY: Our cancellation policy requires notice of at least 24 hours before the appointment time and only during our business hours, Monday to Friday 8-5pm. Late notices will have a charge of $75.

POLICY TO ADDRESS ISSUES: If you are unhappy with our cleaning service, we request you to (1) notify us within 24 hours after the service was completed (2) allow our cleaning crew to correct any issue by doing a re-clean within the following 24 hour time frame. Amelia’s Maids does not offer any refunds.

WATER AND ELECTRICITY: Customers must ensure that the property where the Services are to be provided has running water, electricity, and sufficient light. Failure to have any of those will cost full amount of the bill without chance for a re-clean if something can’t not be cleaned due to the circumstances.

SUPPLIES: We provide all supplies from generic brands, if you wish to use any special products please let our office crew know. The only items we will not provide are paper towels and trash bags.

SPECIAL MATERIALS: Please inform our office of any materials at your house that require special care, such as, marble, natural stone, quartz, etc. Customers must provide any special cleaners required for these areas.

FOR MOVE OUT/IN CLEANINGS (ONLY): ALL areas of the house must be completely EMPTY and ready to be cleaned when our crew arrives, including cabinets, drawers, closets, refrigerator, etc. No other workers, such as painters, constructors, carpet cleaners or related, should be present during the time our crew is cleaning the house. If there is any remodeling or work being done at the property, please ensure all areas are finished and dry by the time our crew arrives. Failure to do so will have an automatic $75 fee charge to customer credit card and depending on the situation a cancellation of the appointment. If there is any construction or repair work done at the property after the cleaning was completed, Amelia’s Maids will not send a team back to do a re-clean the house.

COVERAGE AND EXCLUSIONS: All items of value that are non-replaceable, one-of-a-kind, sentimental value, collector items, discontinued patterns, family heirlooms, and high cost crystal-china-ceramic items must be disclosed to Amelia’s Maids and these items will not be cleaned due to insurance regulations. Amelia’s Maids will not be liable for items not disclosed prior to the cleaning. Amelia’s Maids will not be liable for items broken or damaged due to wear-and-tear or fixtures that are not properly secured such as: pictures, mirrors, ceiling lamps, window treatments, wall coverings, lack of furniture glides for wood floors, lack of scratch covers on the bottom of furniture decor, cabinet mounted appliances, and household accessories. Amelia’s Maids will not be liable for any damage that is not reported within 24-hours of your last cleaning. Report of damages should be sent to nkannaly@ameliasmaids.com and it is recommended to attach pictures and all evidence that support the incident. Amelia’s Maids will only consider liability for the repair of replacement cost of the item damaged or broken, if an item is part of a set, only the cost of the individual item will be considered.
